An exclusive workshop jointly organised by SMMT Industry Forum, United Kingdom and Neville Clarke, Malaysia covering the latest scheme update on ISO/TS 16949 was held on 5th August 2014. The workshop was delivered by Mr Paul Hardiman, the Principal Global Best Practice from SMMT, UK.
The workshop covered the updates on the recent IATF recognition 4th edition and overview on what will be the impact of ISO 9001:2015 to the ISO/TS 16949. A total of more than 20 delegates from a wide range of automotive suppliers, gained an update on the ISO/TS16949 scheme, the future developments of management system standards and the areas of ISO/TS16949 showing the highest level of non-conformance.
It was a very interactive workshop and more than 90% of the delegates rated the workshop excellent related to delivery and content.
