With the dawn of ASEAN integration and market becoming more closely linked with one another, the timing and theme for this years’ People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) 51st conference could not have been more perfect. “Common Identity, Shared Destiny”, this was the central theme of the 2014 PMAP Annual Conference. Staged at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug Cebu last September 17 – 19, 2014, the annual conference was well attended by over a thousand HR practitioners who are eyeing on how their organisations can be aligned with the new requirements of an ASEAN integrated market. Industry practitioners from the service, manufacturing, BPO, government and even education flock the venue to get a piece of the valuable sessions during the conference. Discussion ranges from best practices in the field of Human Resources from neighbouring ASEAN neighbours to a tactical approach to Organisation Development was well received by the conference delegates during their satellite conference sessions (breakout sessions).

With the impending integration of the ASEAN market, the demand for a globally recognised standard which would enable organisations to speak the same language proved to be very essential. It is because of this requirement, why Neville – Clarke Philippines, Inc. was once again part of the successful event to showcase its training and consultancy services. As an industry leader in the field of Management Systems (MS), prospective business partner’s flock the booth to discuss their specific requirements.
