The IATF 16949: 2016 adopts the ten-clause structure of the ISO Annex SL and is aligned to the ISO9001:2015 standard. Riding on the framework of process approach with risk based thinking (RBT), the IATF 16949 was written to include consideration for customer specific requirements

The risk based thinking (RBT) introduces the concept of context of the organization and the need for organizations to look at risk and opportunities ar strategic level. Mitigation actions to address the risk and opportunities are to be built into the QMS.

This course is specially designed to be a how-to training with practical application workshop included in the context of risk-based thinking application for automotive supply chain

This programme aims to provide delegates with knowledge of the following:
  • the organizational context of QMS
  • application of risk-based thnking in the QMS
  • structured method in development of an effective QMS relevant to the organization’s context

Upon completion of the training, delegates will :-
  • Have a good understanding of the organizational context, risk-based thinking and process approach concepts necessary for establishment of a Quality Management System for automotive aupply chain

This programme is designed for the management level of organizations that are currently certified or yet to be certified to ISO 9001:2015.
All Neville Clarke tutors are full time consultants, auditors and trainers. The tutor assigned is a professional who has years of experience working with organisations to help them set-up and successfully maintain their quality management system. They are able to share their experiences, provide practical advice and solutions, and share common pitfalls faced by real-life organisations in their quest towards ISO 9001 certification.
