Objective
Potential Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) is an established risk assessment methodology for systematically identify the potential failure of a product or process, assess the impact of the failure, and develop an action plan to eliminate or minimize the impact of the potential failure.  FMEA is focuses on prevention, either it is on manufacturing or design processes.  A well-developed and comprehensive FMEA is proven to greatly reduce the cost of poor quality and it is an interactive process, which will continually improve the quality of your process or product.

The training material has been aligned with the AIAG’s FMEA Reference Manual 4th Edition.  Hence, it meets the requirement of the FMEA core tools training requirements specified by the automotive industry quality management systems (e.g. ISO/TS 16949).


Course Description

This training will provide delegates with:
  • To provide complete methodology for developing and implementing the FMEA
  • To present the evaluation criteria for FMEA

Day 2
  • FMEA workshop

Note: On day 2, there will be more focus on practical activities and our trainer will coach and guide the participants on the development and application of FMEA into the process. It is advisable that prior to the training to set up the team members which familiar with their own process to ensure the effectiveness of the programme.
 
This course is designed for front line managers, engineers or executives who are or plan to involve in the Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) activities as part of their quality improvement initiatives.
