As organizations strive to focus on core competencies and becoming more flexible, they have reduced their ownership of raw materials and distributive channels.  These functions are increasingly being outsourced to other entities that can perform the activities better and more cost effectively.  The effect is to increase the number of organizations involved in satisfying customer demand, while reducing management control of daily logistics operation.  Less control and more supply chain partmers lead to creation of SCM concepts.

In view of such business climate, it is therefore vital that trust and collaboration among supply chain partners to enhance inventory visibility and inventory velocity be understood and developed well.

This training will equip participants with the practical knowledge activities and functions of  SCM. It takes participants through in details the development, principles and techniques of SCM. In addition, participants are also taught the details of initiating continuous improvement projects, project management and how to deal with implementation and change issues.
